Dehradun 5 July. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami completed his three years tenure as CM on 4 th of July 2024. His three year service as “Mukhya Sevak “of Uttarakhand marks important legislation like UCC, anti religious conversion law, action against land jihad, paper leak mafias and rioters.
The most important aspect of his tenure has been zero tolerance towards corruption at high place. Uttarakhand is notorious for corruption due to nexus between politicians, liquor mafia and mining mafia and in the past the state has witnessed involvement of senior civil servant and politician in shady deals but the three year tenure of Pushkar Singh Dhami has been free from any such incident.
The present government commitment towards religious tourism is praiseworthy wherein the state has witnessed record footfall of pilgrims during Char Dham yatra. The development and promotion of Manas Khand has given a big boost to the tourism industry in the state.
The Pushkar Singh Dhami government has also done commendable job is agriculture sector where in special focus has been given on production and processing of millets. The government has set forth an ambitious target of doubling the production of millets by 2025 under Mission Millet scheme.
The current government has also given impetus to rapid industrialization of Uttarakhand with its pro industry policy. In the recently concluded investor meet MOU worth Rs 3.5 lakh crore was signed and the
state government made a comprehensive plan to implement these MOU on ground.
The performance of the sate government in the last three years has been satisfactory for common people of Uttarakhand and the sate will witness further growth in the coming years. Speaking to reporters on completion of his three years Chief Minister said that “Many historic decisions were taken during the period to empower women, youths and farmers. With the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we were also able to overcome several challenges,” he added.
