A 40-member delegation of Sri Lankan Civil Service Officers visited the Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority under a capacity-building program coordinated by the National Centre for Good Governance. The delegation was briefed on Uttarakhand’s disaster management framework, including early warning systems, emergency response mechanisms, community participation, and advanced technologies used for disaster risk reduction in the Himalayan state.
