dehradun The public will soon face the beauty of Uttarakhand. The documentary film “Ganga: Soul of India” created by Zee Entertainment Ltd, is being shot in several places of Uttarakhand. Its aim is to deliver information about religious and tourism places of Uttarakhand. Famous actress Diya Mirza is playing a leading role in the documentary. The Assistant Director Information Department K.S. Chauhan welcomed Diya Mirza on coming Uttarakhand. The AD Shri Chauhan informed that the state government has made new film policy for Uttarakhand. The film policy was implemented on 10th August 2015 and policy has been made attractive. Single window system has been made for permitting process.
The actress Diya Mirza said that she had got an opportunity to see and understand the Uttarakhand. The natural beauty of Uttarakhand is amazing. Uttarakhand is the best choice in terms of film shooting. She will motivate others directors and producers to shoot movies in Uttarakhand. The people of Uttarakhand are very simple. “Ganga: Soul of India” is a travelling show, which will show the beauty of Uttarakhand. This documentary film will show the importance and dishes of those areas where the River Ganga flows.
The Assistant Director K.S. Chauhan informed about new film policy of Uttarakhand and said that Uttarakhand would be developed as an important center of film production. Infrastructural facilities are being developed for this. Regional film production will be encouraged.
