Minister Rekha Arya meet International Cricketer Ekta Bisht
Rekha Arya State Minister (Independet Charge) Women and child welfare Uttakhand said Recently our daughters lost ICC Women’s World Cup tournament but they won the million hearts. Though being a runner up they were given a warm welcome and treated as champions in their country, perhaps more than what England had given to their team.
It is the first time in the nation’s women cricket history that each player is being appreciated personally. It is the moment of recognition of the hardwork they were doing from years.Today Mrs. Rekha Arya, State Minister (Independent incharge) accompanied with D.M. Almora Eva Ashish Shrivastav and SSP Almora V Renuka greeted and congratulated Ekta Bisht, women’s cricket team player at her home in Almora.
Ekta has not just brought the fame to the nation but her home state also. Mrs. Rekha Arya said that, ” government is constantly doing her best for the bright future of the girls.” Adding her concern to girls she said that, ” financial issues will not shatter the dreams anymore”.Addressing Ekta Bisht as the role model for thousand girls in Uttarakhand, Mrs. Rekha Arya congratulated her for the achievements and blessed her for the bright future. She added that, ” girls are our pride “. We are proud of them because they are not an inch behind the boys. “
