CM Trivendra S. Rawat has launched e-gate pass to secretariat entry
The Uttarakhand Chief Minister, Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat formally launched e-gate pass facility for visitors, seeking entry to secretariat and State Legislative Assembly at a function held at Secretariat, here on Wednesday. Apart from regular pass facility, the visitors can avail benefit of e-pass facility, which is an automatic facility. The visitors, workers and car owners seeking entry can apply for gate pass at any time. The pre-registration can be done for e-pass facility, which would be helpful to establish identity of outside visitors. The facility would be helpful for accuracy, clear photographs and MIS recording of visitors can be done.
The visitors seeking e-pass facility for themselves and their vehicles from concerned officials to meet them on selected date can apply online using www. eGatepass-uk.in. The gate-pass application would be sent to department concerned officials for approval. An OTP would be sent on mobile number and e-mail ID of an applicant, once gate-pass application would be approved by the department. The visitor can print gate-pass with the help of OTP at gate-pass booth. The visitor can apply for gate-pass with the help of gate-pass App also.
While briefing about the facility, ITDA director Amit Sinha said that software was designed for e-pass system with the help of ITDA and computer and other equipment were set up at gate-pass booth, which is operated by security personnel. He said that training would be imparted to 92 private secretaries deployed in secretariat, and Vidhan Sabha on e-gate pass facility by ITDA.
Additional Chief Secretary Om Prakash, Secretary (Chief Minister) Radhika Jha were present on the occasion.
