Accident in Almora, SDRF & Police team rushed to the spot
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Mr. Trivendra Singh Rawat has expressed grief over the deaths in an accident that took place in Almora on Bhatroj Khan- Ramnagar Motor road, near Kalidhar-Muhana. He prayed for the peace of the departed souls and to provide strength and patience to the bereaved families. The Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat also wished for speedy recovery of those injured in the fateful accident.
He also held a meeting with the District Magistrates of Almora and Nainital and inquired about the progress of relief and rescue operations. He ordered the DMs to ensure that there was any kind of negligence and laxity won’t be tolerated. He said that all those injured, should be provided with best available treatment and medical aid. The Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat also ordered to provide relief amount immediately to the victims.
According to the latest information, a team of 108 Emergency Ambulance Service, state revenue, police and SDRF was dispatched to the place of accident. A volunteer team of disaster management has already started relief and rescue operations on the spot. A team of doctors have also been rushed to the spot from Salt, Bhakiyasain and Bhatroj Khan. Till now, 13 injured have been referred to Ramnagar hospital, where they are being treated.
